WTS4 does not work with Windows Vista SP1 RDC Client

Workstation running Windows Vista SP1 cannot connected to the old Windows NT4 "Hydra" Server. To have this to work, we need to use the older RDC Client (MSTSC aka Microsoft Terminal Server Client) version 5.0 or 5.2.

I think it is faster than the 6.x!  Terminal Server is Microsoft's original implementation of thin-client terminal server computing, where Windows applications, or even the entire desktop of the computer running terminal services, are made accessible from a remote client machine. The client can either be a fully-fledged computer, running any operating system as long as the terminal services protocol is supported, or a bare-bones machine powerful enough to support the protocol.  It is like running a computer desktop from any dump terminal - like to good old IBM mainframe days.
