How to use Apple Keyboard & Magic Mouse on Win 7

The new aluminum Apple keyboard along with Magic Mouse that comes with a new iMac is a nice looking keyboard that could be linked with any Windows 7 system. However, you need to a system have a built-in bluetooth connectivity and paired correctly.

This update adds support for Microsoft Windows 7 (Home Premium, Professional, and Ultimate) add supports the Apple wireless keyboard and Apple Magic mouse.

Use 7-zip to browse the downloaded file.

Open BootCampUpdate64.msp

Look for BootCamp30ToBootCamp305 > Binary.Keyboard_Bin. Select all the content and drop them into a new folder. When it's done run the file "DPInst.exe" and if correctly installed it will showed "Apple Keyboard (04/06/2009 3.0.0.0) Installed"

For Magic Mouse "scroll" to work, you need to have the appropriate driver installed.
