Mapping Printer to Remote Terminal

Start Remote Desktop Connection and click on the Option Button to expand the options available.

Check on both local device - Disk Drives and Printers. The Disk Drives option will allow files to be copied over from the remote desktop computer to your local computer. Printers lets the software create a virtual printer driver on the remote desktop computer and the printout will be routed from the remote desktop to you local printer.

Remote Desktop Connection printer mapping to work, the printer has to be connected to Local LPT or COM ports.

For mapped local drive, you should be able to see it as remote network connection. You can drag & drop or browse to the mapped drives.
