The MS Blaster Virus, that pesky virus, cost you a heap of problems and your company a heap of money? Well, U.S. District Judge Marsha Pechman sentenced a teenager to 18 months in prison for distributing the MS Blaster virus that infected close to 50 thousand computers during 2003.
The virus, also known as LovScan virus, used one of the vulnerabilities in Microsoft´s 2000 and XP Operating Systems. The virus, once installed on an XP / 2000 machine, would attack Microsoft´s website.
