a exe file is a setup file that you need to install or run a program or basicly any new divise on your pc.and what happened is the anti virus program does not recognise the file.right click on the file and scan it with the virus program and install whatever you wanted to.No harm done.

C:\WINNT\crvt.exe
was detected by Symantec Antivirus as the W32.Randex virus.
