GMT.EXE - GStartup

Related to the GAIN/Gator adware.

GMT.exe is located in "C:\Program Files\Common Files\GMT\".

Removal:

Located the GMT.exe file and delete it.

Q: I removed GMT.EXE from explore, it cause trouble every time I start up pc and the message shows on the screen and said "GStartup.lnk refers to is unavailable".

A: Remove the GStartup.lnk from the Windows Startup Folder - Start > Program > Startup

GMT.exe is attempting to access the internet... GMT.EXE is a Gator Application. Gator is one of the most pervasive and widespread advertising adware programs from GAIN, the Gator Advertising Information Network. This program will track all the web sites you visit and send the information to the companies Gain computers.
