You might try registry mechanic... 1) it has a registry back up and system restore built in....2)its a one button fix so its so simple a chimp could use it and 3) if you dont ever clean up your registry your comp will slow down and continously have explorer errors and application compatability clashes from having multiple drivers of the same installed and eventually lock up or crash.
In reply to Sam: Don´t recommend any registry cleaners what so ever, they just seem to mess up my computer every time I used one. Had to reformat each time to fix the problems they caused.
I have used several an it gets worse everytime, the registry is part of windows an should not be messed with.
