Mine´s so weird.
I can´t open Media files using Windows Media Player. But i can open them using Windows media player classic,. this is so annoying

SearchPage.cc spyware can come in different file names. It like to reset registry values every 10 seconds. There is probably a dll that is causing this, one name I know is mtwirl.dll. If this exists on your computer, you may have to delete it in safe mode. If this is not the name of the dll, maybe you can run a search on dll´s created around the time you got the virus.

same prob , i deleted it an someoen the search oage is still there, in my addrs bar i got to type http://www. to surf the web if i jus type yahoo.com, the search page shows up? any fix?

i can´t find any mshelper files or registry entries mentioned in the instructions yet still have searchpage.cc. why is this? any further advice?

I try removing all the registry settings, but they keep comming back after a few secs!!

tihs would be great advice, IF IT WORKED. Puuh, there are no such files on my system32 dir and register is also clean.
