mcshield.exe can be run from a configuration file of "allowed" files. If a file is encoutered which is not on the approved list, mcshield.exe goes hyper, throws a pop-up warning for "unknown software" stops processing while file is scanned for virus AND writes a error file. All this can be tracked by the IT entity which set the whole process up when ever the station in question signs on to the server. Big Brother is watching you!!
