Vulnerability Management
At MAC-NET, we strictly abides by the following Vulnerability Management Methodology to enable comprehensive understanding and solution deployment:
Step 1 – Proactive Assessment. What are my information security risks? What is my overall information security posture?
Step 2 - Refine. How do I design a secure network infrastructure? What should my security policy and controls be?
Step 3 – Integrate. How do I implement the Protection Solutions? How do I integrate and customize the Protection Solutions for my existing environment?
Step 4 – Manage. What´s happening on my networks? How can I measure the effectiveness of the security controls in place? Am I adequately prepared for responding to security issues detected?
Step 5 – Educate. Do my managers and staff understand risk management? Is my staff appropriately educated to manage the security of my information assets?
In ensuring that the organization's security posture is maintained at a consistently secured status and maintaining the general health and functionality of the security infrastructure, an organization need to perform services that are: Prevention (to prevent problems from happening); Detection (to detect problems if they do happen); Response (to react to problems when it happens).
