Turn Windows features on or off came up blank

Question:

When I go to the control panel / programs and features and click on the "Turn Windows Features on or off" the window pops up with the words please wait but after about a second the words disappear and the window stays blank.

Possible Solution:

Turn on "Windows Modules Installer" Service (TrustedInstaller) then try going back to "Turn Windows Features On" again. If still does not work, run SFC / SCANNOW to fix the possibility corrupted files.
